Hello!  Welcome to Inspirate to Paint.  I am so glad you're here and sincerely hope that you enjoy my unique designs as much as I have enjoyed making them available. 

I'm, Wendi Brannen, an artist with a passion for creating captivating paintings, transforming them into wearable art and teaching paint parties!  I didn't always do this... I don't have 30 years of experience creating, not even 10 years but I do have a compelling story and that story is the reason why I am so passionate about inspiring others. 

I didn't learn to unleash the creator within until I was in my 40's.  I truly did not believe I could draw a stick figure and it turns out, I couldn't.  The reason I couldn't though is because I didn't and wouldn't.  I learned that you can't actually do anything if you never try.  I took a chance on myself, bought a paint brush and sat down to watch an artist that inspired me.  Those few first experiences were fun.... I enjoyed it enough to keep trying.  I fell in love with the process and aspired to get better.  I may never stop trying to get better.  

The most interesting part about this journey though, and the most surprising part for me was change in my entire thought process.  The more I create, the more I want to create and not just painting.  It is like a new door was opened to an area of my brain that I didn't even know existed until a few years ago.  I believe it is that inner child coming back to the surface that gets buried deep within by fear.  I hope to help others find that inner child and kick fear to the curb.

All that was so serious and just kind of tumbled out.......  but on a less serious note....  you could just join a party and have some fun even if that is all it ever is.  Just fun!  You never know until you try!
